COVID-19 2020



Baldersby St James Primary School  will open on 1st June for years R,1 and 6 children in line with Government direction and for key worker children. The sessions will be initially 9.00am - 12.30pm  Monday - Friday and will be reviewed over the next few weeks. 


Parents of children attending will have received detailed information regarding drop off and collection to reduce adults on the school site. It is essential that we minimise the number of people accessing the site so that we can adhere to strict social distancing requirements, for the health and safety and wellbeing of the children and our staff. What do I do if I wish for my child/children to attend from 1st June?

All parents have recieved information about  reopening however if you need further information or to inform the school if your requirements change please contact the school on

‘Key workers’ are defined as those whose work is critical to the COVID-19 response or those who work in one of the critical sectors listed below:
